Experiment on sumi-e board.

I noticed an interesting effect on the images drawn on sumi-e drawing board. The evaporation. Drawn images quickly fade away, and as they do, the effect is fascinating. I caught this image with a digital camera before it was completely gone.

I lately planted seeds of papaya in my yard. Just the other day, young leaves started to appear. The idea of seeds germinating inspired me to make this painting.
