Cold winter days continue in most part of Japan, but small signs of warm spring are everywhere: tiny buds on tree branches, and worms coming out of the ground. Repeated Rain and wind invite the next season.まだまだ寒い冬日が続きます。でも、暖かい春の兆しはあちこちに出始めました。枝に小さな蕾、啓蟄。度々の風と雨が次に季節を招きます。
Haru-Ichiban, 春一番, is literary "spring's fist wind". It usually blows from south and quite strong. The wind, however, is a sign of a new season.
A scenery with Mt. Fuji. I take my wife, who needs walking assistance, to a beauty parlor. On the wall of the parlor is an image of Mt. Fuji. I enjoy the unexpected juxtaposition. A haiku moment, in deed, but alas no haiku.富士山のある風景。要介護の妻と美容室へ。シャンプーとカットの間、店内を見ると富士山の姿がありました。意外な組あせで俳句的なシーンですが、句は詠めません。残念。
Black Mt. Fuji / 黒富士 A night-scape of Mt. Fuji, hence the color black. The Milky Way flows in the dark night sky. I use the story of Tanabata in the painting. 富士山の夜景なので「黒富士」と命名しました。天の川が夜空を流れている情景です。七夕のお話を絵に含めました。
