Tenri, my town. 天理、我が町。My town is named after a religion called Tenri-kyo (Teaching of Tenri). In the painting are some important symbols relating to the teaching. The mountain range in the back is Aogaki National Park. After rain, I am always fascinated by the mystic rise of water vapor from the mountain. 私の町は天理教の天理が名前になっています。絵の中では、教えに関する大切なシンボルがいくつか描かれています。背景の山は青垣国定公園です。雨後、山間から水蒸気が立ち上る様にいつも心惹かれています。
The divine is invisible, no mouth to speak. But it, in fact, speaks to us in many ways. Maintain your mind like clear water, you will get to hear the divine voice, maybe from your family, friends, people around you. 神には口がありませんが、多様な方法で私たちに語りかけます。心を澄んだ水のように保てば、家族や友人、周りの人々を通して聴くことができるでしょう。
