Dried old pond 干上がった古池

Like many parts of japan, the old pond where Basho wrote a haiku must have gone through changes through years. It might have been developed into residential or commercil areas. And now, the place has been deserted and only dried grass stands there. 日本各地のように、芭蕉が句を詠んだ古池は開発され、そして放置され、今は枯れ草が茂るだけ。
