 “I imagined it,” the young traveler said. "Someone from this town sat here. Maybe he came shopping, maybe just to kill time. But he sat here, deftly folding small pieces of paper, making many cranes, using colorful papers. It must have taken quite a while. He probably enjoyed folding them while slowly savoring his coffee. Then, before leaving. he arranged them here like a gift for other visitors to enjoy. I imagined that. And I thought: This is a sight you can only see in Japan. In a small café in a rural town, a heartwarming, peaceful scene like this is created so casually. Only in Japan. Don't you agree?"
